- Continuing the journey, the boat passes through Kumarakodi, the site where the renowned Malayalam Poet and Revolutionary Kumaranashan tragically lost his life in the capsizing of the boat “REDEEMER.”
- Thottappally Spilway divides the Thottappally lake, separating the fresh water part to the east and the saline Thottappally river mouth.
- The route includes Pallana, the statue of “KARUMADIKUTTAN” at Kavalackal Village Jetty in Chembassery, believed to be the Statue of Lord Buddha, and the River Pallathruthy.
- The boat then proceeds to Mangalassery Jetty, offering views of the sacred confluence of the Pampa River with Lake Vembanad, paddy farming areas below sea level, and the MOTOR BASE (Motor Thara) used for water extraction in paddy fields.
- The journey further covers Lake Vembanad, the training center of the Sports Authority of India (SAI), and Punnamads Canal.
